Sleep education is probably the first step to to take to tackle any sleep issues. This is commonly known as sleep hygiene. Wikipedia defines this term (link) as “all behavioral and environmental factors that precede sleep and may interfere with sleep”. Some of these recommendations are very well known for many, but they might not been taught to many others. With the arrival of new technologies, and the availability of TV next to our bed (years ago, there was just one TV per house), we might need to re-learn some basic concepts.
